Kress [1863-1955] on 5 October 1927 as Mello da Gubbio; gift to the Fogg Art Museum, Harvard University Art Museums in 1962 no. 1962.158.   The painitng was originally given to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, then de-accessioned and exchanged with Kress for a Neroccio de' Landi.
